Just after his 2nd birthday, doctors found what may have been causing little Danny DiMaio’s discomfort for most of his young life. A tumor in his abdomen bloomed large enough to be detected, and surgery to remove and analyze it determined he had neuroblastoma. Diagnosis of this fast-growing cancer led quickly to chemotherapy as he prepares for a stem cell transplant – his best chance at beating this for good.
Unfortunately, the medical costs are astounding. Many aren’t covered by insurance, and the ones that are come with a steep co-pay. Just as important, Danny’s family could use a break from the crisis to feel the support of people who care about them.

Danny has had to endure things no 2-year-old should: repeated needle sticks and lengthy hospital stays, vomiting for days and watching his
siblings play outside while he’s stays in. He’s doing all he can … What can you do?
